AIC 35周年記念！フレンドシップパーティーで「防災」をテーマに盛り上がった一日

2025年10月25日（土）、AICは35周年を迎え、記念すべきフレンドシップパーティーを開催しました！今年のテーマは「つながる心　広がる安心」。防災課の方々を講師としてお招きし、参加した皆さんと一緒に「防災」をテーマにした学びと交流の時間を楽しみました。

イベントはまず、防災課の方々からやさしい日本語で実用的な防災知識を紹介していただきました。段ボールベッドの組み立て体験や、非常食の試食もあり、参加者の皆さんは実際に役立つ防災スキルを学びました。

後半は、ワールドクイズチャレンジ！姉妹友好都市や言語、文化に関するクイズにチームで挑戦し、大盛り上がり。最後には、各チームが姉妹友好都市にちなんだユニークな賞品をゲットしました。

イベント終了後は、参加者同士でリラックスしながら自由に交流し、新たなつながりを作ることができました。

We celebrated AIC's 35th Anniversary during our disaster-prevention-themed Friendship Party!

On October 25th, 2025, we held our Friendship Party in commemoration of the Asahikawa International Committee's 35th anniversary. This year's theme was "Connected Hearts, Growing Peace of Mind." In collaboration with the Disaster Prevention and Safety Division of City Hall, everyone was able to enjoy cultural exchange while learning about disaster prevention.

First, Mr. Yoshida and Mr. Hanazono from the Disaster Prevention Division gave an informative lesson on disaster prevention in easy Japanese, where everyone was able to learn about practical safety techniques, learn how to build a bed out of cardboard, and try some delicious emergency food.

During the latter half of the event, we had a World Quiz Challenge, where everyone was divided into teams to answer some challenging questions relating to language, culture, and Asahikawa's sister cities. At the end of the quiz, each team won a sister-city-themed prize!

At the end of the Friendship Party, everyone enjoyed a cultural exchange, developing new connections with members of both the international and local communities.
