Asahikawa International Comittee (AIC)
■ Founded on October 4th, 1990
■ Purpose
The Asahikawa City International Exchange Activities Fund was established in the climate of advancing internationalization and growing popularity of international exchange amongst citizen. Its purpose is to promote, in various forms, citizen-oriented international exchange, personnel training in the field of international friendship and cooperation, and assistance to cross-cultural volunteer activities.
The Asahikawa International Committee was founded to implement programs set forth by the fund’s ordinances. These programs are continuing to engage citizens in diverse international exchange programs and activities, such as classes and courses related to international exchange and programs that bring together foreigners and local citizens.
